After the VINYL SIGN has been cut and the APPLICATION PAPER or VINYL APPLICATION TAPE ( which is clear / transparent) has been applied with the use of a VINYL SQUEEGEE – it is suggested that a good firm squeegee should be used for this part of the process, as plenty of downward pressure should be applied in a Herringbone pattern, spreading from the centre outwards to eliminate any bubbles or wrinkles, so a NEW BLUE FELT SQUEEGEE

is recommended by The Vinyl Corporation as the plastic edge can be used across the surface with considerable force and still not damaging the Vinyl Graphics.When the graphics have been offered up to the intended substrate, that has been sprayed with RAPID TAK

( very useful in colder weather, to activate the adhesive quicker) then either the felt edge of the AVERY PRO SQUEEGEE

– by AVERY DENNISON GRAPHICS or the MACTAC FELT

block squeegee would be The Vinyl Corporation recommendations, but it really is subjective- as some VINYL INSTALLERS choose specific VINYL WRAP TOOLS , but some “old skool installers” prefer to use the softer AVERY RED SQUEEGEE
