This flexible, 3 mil thick, translucent, dark grey spray mask is called ORACAL® Oramask 810 stencil film. This stencil film’s elasticity makes it ideal for painting and spraying on both flat and textured surfaces. The underside surface is visible thanks to the grey film’s translucence. Wet application is not recommended.

What is Oramask 810 paintmask stencil  used for?  

It was created for use with paint and stain stencil applications, particularly with paint and spray techniques on flat, smooth, hard substrates and surfaces.   

This mask-film is designed for use when a peelable mask or stencil is required, such as for paint brushing and spray-painting decorating of banners, tarpaulins, vehicles, signboards, and more. It contains a specifically formulated removable, pressure-sensitive, acrylic adhesive.

The Oramask 810 Stencil Film is extremely flexible and only 80 microns thick.  

  

HOW TO APPLY  

Apply transfer tape over your stencil film after outlining or cutting your design. Apply the film to the substrate by peeling off the backing. Since the mask-film is translucent, existing graphics can be easily positioned on top of it.  

Oramask masking film is a matte-surfaced, grey translucent PVC film that was created for stencil applications, particularly for paint and spray techniques. Oramask is ideal for general signage, promotional writing, and vehicle branding.

Oramask 810 stencil film  

  

For usage in stencil applications, particularly for paint and spray techniques, Oramask masking film was created. It is a matte-surfaced, grey, translucent PVC film. Vehicle lettering, promotional lettering, and general signs are all excellent uses for Oramask.  

   

Since Oramask has a translucent look, it is easy to register because the surface is visible during application. Because of its flexibility, Oramask may be applied to both flat and wavy surfaces.

The 3 mil calendered films ORAMASK 810, 811, and 813 all have low-tack removable adhesives. For flat, smooth surfaces, use 811 or 813. For flexible or irregular surfaces, Oracal created the 810. The 810S version of it is available with a solvent-based adhesive.
